Greg Kocher

Greg has had 40 years of diving experience and has personally instructed thousands of diving enthusiasts. He's operated the Vancouver Diving Locker since 1972.

Greg and the dedicated Diving Locker crew will provide you with friendly, knowledgeable equipment services, guided diving adventures and world recognized scuba certifications.

Greg has degrees in physical education and marketing, and ensures customers get top value, and excellent service when they do business with The Diving Locker.

Chelsea Cameron

Chelsea is a certified instructor and has been diving for over 7 years. She has been all over the carribbean, and most recently spent 7 months in Thailand.

She made the transition to our chilly waters in November '08, and has been with us ever since.

She loves night diving, running kids camps, and she also specializes in private instruction.

You can find her in the shop Tuesday-Saturday, where she'd be more than happy to help you with all your diving and equipment needs.

Amanda Lovell

Amanda is currently a working on her PADI Divemaster Certification. She has been working with us for almost a year now, and can't get enough of diving!

She feels for the environment very strongly, so don't let her catch you with a plastic bag, or a styrofoam container!

You can find her in the shop Friday-Monday, and she'd be more than happy to help you out with any of your diving and equipment needs.

Paul Quiggle

Paul has been diving for over 10 years, and began in the chilly waters of Puget Sound (Seattle). He worked and earned his Instructor rating in Roatan, Honduras.

Paul's passion in diving has taken him to both sides of the Pacific and many islands in between. He has also had the opportunity to dive all over Mexico and the Caribbean. He is excited to come back to the beautiful water here in Vancouver and join us at the Diving Locker.

Paul has a large list of Specialty Instructor Ratings, and would be happy to help you add to your diving experience. You can find him in the classroom and pool in the evenings, and in the ocean most every weekend.

Professional Qualifications: Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Care for Children w/ AED Instructor, EFR Instructor.

Specialty Instructor Ratings: Drysuit, Deep, Digital U/W Photography, Enriched Air, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Shark Diver, Search & Recovery, Underwater Navigation, Wreck

Nolan McGirr

Nolan has been diving for 7 years. He first began diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, where he recieved his open water certification. He completed his instructor training in the chilly waters of Okanagan Lake, in Kelowna. He then went on to work in the Dominican Republic for 18 months, where he taught a wide variety of courses.

He enjoys teaching Open Water Courses and helping people take their first breaths underwater. He also enjoys leading divers on our weekend safaris. You can find him teaching in the evenings, and in the ocean on the weekend.

Professional Qualifications: Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Care for Children w/ AED Instructor, EFR Instructor.

Specialty Instructor Ratings: Deep, Enriched Air, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night, Multilevel, Search & Recovery, Underwater Navigation
