Come and join our trip to Campbell River over the weekend of October 6-9th. 8 awesome boat dives, 2 shore dives, great scenery and good company! A trip you won’t want to miss!

This trip will also include breakfasts on Saturday & Sunday, lunch on Saturday and a BBQ dinner Saturday night!

We will be diving off of Quadra Island which offers clear waters and profusion of colourful marine life. The Walls are covered in life, including colorful anemones, sponges, nudibranch, tube worms, and soft corals. There are many other type of fish varieties and marine animals, including Orcas, Seal Lions, Wolf Eels, Giant Pacific Octopus and much much more.

We’ll be diving popular sites such as Row and Be Damned, Whiskey Point, Coopers Cliff, Steep Island and maybe even a wreck dive on the former destroyer HMCS Columbia…

Trip Itinerary:

Friday

  • Meet the shop at 9 am (to catch the 10:40 ferry to Nanaimo)
    Stop in Nanaimo for a shore dive so we can sort any weighting or gear issues before Campbell River.
  • Drive to Campbell River
  • Check into the newly built Campbell River Comfort Inn Hotel
  • Go for dinner somewhere and relax for the evening!

 

Saturday

  • Meet the boat at the dock for our first dive
  • Depending on tides, we may stay on the boat for the surface interval before our 2nd dive or come back to the dock.
  • Lunch on the boat or dock
  • Head out for a 3rd afternoon/dusk dive
  • Return to the resort where they will have a nice BBQ dinner waiting for us!

Sunday

  • Meet the boat at the dock for our first dive
  • Depending on tides, we may stay on the boat for the surface interval before our 2nd dive or come back to the dock.
  • Lunch on the boat or dock
  • Head out for a 3rd afternoon/dusk dive
  • Return to the resort where they will have a nice BBQ dinner waiting for us!

 

Monday

  • Meet down at the dock for the dive
  • Lunch
  • Head back out for 2nd dive
  • Pack up and head home!
