Come and join our trip to Campbell River over the weekend of May 4th-6th! 5 awesome boat dives, 1 shore dive, great scenery and good company! A trip you won’t want to miss!

We will be diving off of Quadra and Cortez Island which offers clear waters and profusion of colorful marine life.

The Walls are covered in life, including colorful anemones, sponges, nudibranchs, tube worms, and soft corals. There are many other type of fish varieties and marine animals, including Orca’sSea Lions, Wolf Eels, Giant Pacific Octopus and much much more. We’ll be diving popular sites such as Row and Be Damned, Whiskey Point, Coopers Cliff, Steep Island and  maybe even a wreck dive on the former destroyer HMCS Columbia…

    Trip Itinerary:

    Friday

    Meet the shop at 9 am (to catch the 10:40 ferry to Nanaimo)
    Stop in Nanaimo for a shore dive so we can sort any weighting or gear issues before Campbell River.
    Drive to Campbell River
    Get a good nights sleep at the Best Western

    Saturday

    Head down to the dock to meet the boat, for our first dive
    Depending on tides, we may stay on the boat for the surface interval before our 2nd dive or come back to the resort
    after second dive go back to the resort and go for dinner

    Sunday
    Meet the boat down at the dock for our first dive
    Have a lunch on the boat or on the dock
    2nd Boat Dive
    Pack up and head home!
    Catch the 5:30 PM ferry t Vancouver

Prerequisites:

Divers must be minimum Advanced, and comfortable/competent with cold water diving. Divers can expect mid-moderate current at some of the sites
