The 737 is the worlds first artificial reef created from a sunken Boeing 737. It was sunk in 2006 by the Artificial Reef Society. The plane is sitting up off the bottom resting on giant tripods which makes it extremely accessible from top to bottom. It also makes for great photo ops (provided the visibility is good)

The bottom tail rests at about 104 ft, the rear passenger doors are at 80ft, and the top of the tail is at about 60 ft.

The plane is encrusted with various species of tube worms, tunicates, and anemones. The plane is also home to red sea urchins, wolf eels, and a variety of other fish. The cockpit and cabin have been completely stripped which makes it ideal for penetration. This is also a popular site for free divers.
