Experience the Sunshine Coast!
We run Sunshine Coast Safari’s once a month (usually towards the end of the month). The site we most commonly dive is Tuwanek, where we have frequent encounters with wolf eels, and Giant Pacific Octopus, and much much more. What makes this site a favorite, is the entry (almost little to no walking)!
- 2 Tanks, weights
- 2 guided shore dives
- Transportation/Ferry- We encourage divers to transport themselves to and from the dive site if they have the ability to, all divers who ride with us in the van will be required to wear a mask or face covering.
Meet time is at 7:45 am at The Diving Locker (please confirm meet time when booking as ferry schedules change throughout the year) and we return around 6 pm (depending on ferries).
Divers must be able to provide proof of certification, and have done at least 4 cold water dives in the last 12 months (some exceptions may apply).
Although the difficulty level of this site is fairly easy, the trip itself is tailored to self-sufficient divers who have mastered their buoyancy control. The guide is there to provide surface support with any gear issues, provide a site briefing and lead the dives for those that would like to follow. Divers who haven’t quite mastered their buoyancy in the cold water or who require some extra attention and support are recommended to start with one of our Local Safari’s.
Something come up and need to postpone your dive? No problem! We ask that you give us 1 week notice, as we do fill up quickly so we’d like to have time to fill your spot. Any cancellations made outside of this time frame may not be eligible for credit
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds, but we would be happy to move you to a different date or offer you an in-store credit.
