Students are required to provide their own personal gear (mask, snorkel, fins, boots, & gloves) & dive lights for the course. Alternatively these can be rented for $50 for the entire course.
Students are also required to have their own dive computer or bottom timing device. Computers are available to rent for $25 for the weekend.
Must be 12 years of age or older.
Must have dove within the last 12 months, otherwise a refresher is required.
Must be able to complete a medical questionnaire, and obtain medical clearance if necessary. Click here to download the PADI Medical Questionnaire. This course can be taken after completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification.

That is what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.
The Advanced Open Water Diver course will help you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to Advance their knowledge, and learn about some different areas of diving.
