Discover Tec – Your Introduction to Technical Diving

Before committing to a full Tec Diving certification, you might want to get a taste of what exactly technical diving entails. "Discover Tec" provides just that opportunity. It's a brief, confined water experience that allows you to try technical diving equipment and basic skills. During this session, you'll explore and experience complete tec diving setup,  and experience a test dive under the guidance of one of our Tec diving instructors. You'll get a glimpse of the technical diving world, including skills like switching from primary to secondary regulators and gas shutdown procedures. Discover Tec is an excellent way for you to decide whether technical diving is the right path for you.

PADI Tec 40

The PADI Tec 40 course marks your transition from recreational to technical diving. It's an ideal starting point if you're looking to explore beyond the usual no-stop diving limits. This course equips you with the skills to perform limited decompression dives up to 40 meters (130 feet) and use enriched air with up to 50% oxygen for decompression. Tec 40 is an excellent step towards further technical diving courses, offering an opportunity to extend your deep bottom time and gain foundational technical diving skills.

PADI Tec 45

Progressing to the PADI Tec 45 course, you'll increase your depth limit to 45 meters (150 feet). This course focuses on planning and executing repetitive decompression dives using a single-stage/decompression cylinder. It introduces you to a complete technical diving rig, which can be configured as either back mount or side mount. You'll also learn accelerated decompression using enriched air nitrox or pure oxygen.

PADI Tec 50

The Tec 50 course is the pinnacle of the PADI Tec Deep Diver program. It qualifies you to dive up to 45 meters (150 feet) and handle extended, accelerated decompression stops using up to 100% oxygen. Meet Your Instructor: Nikita Azarenko

Head Instructor of the Diving Locker, and Certified TDI and PADI Technical Instructor Nikita has over 3500 dives, and has been diving and teaching in Black Sea, Red Sea, Laccadive sea, the gulf of Oman, a variety of lakes, rivers and quarries and finally the beautiful waters of British Columbia. Not only is Nikita an accomplished Dive Instructor, but he is also a Service technician,  Rebreather diver, Hyperbaric chamber operator, and a Submarine pilot! He is able to teach courses in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
