Explore the Bahamas on a Liveaboard

Explore the Bahamas on a Liveaboard

Are you ready for an unforgettable dive adventure this winter? Join The Diving Locker on an exciting liveaboard trip to the Exuma Cays, Bahamas, from November 16th to the 22nd. This 6-night journey via Blackbeard’s comfortable 65’ sailboat promises stunning dive sites, beautiful marine life, and experiences you won’t want to miss!

Why Choose a Liveaboard?

A liveaboard offers the ultimate diving experience, providing more time underwater and access to remote dive sites that are otherwise hard to reach. Instead of wasting time commuting back and forth from land, you’ll eat, sleep, and dive right from the boat, maximizing your diving time and minimizing distractions.

One of the best parts? You get to enjoy up to 20 dives, including night dives, all from the comfort of your floating home. You’ll be able to dive pristine sites far from the crowds, all while enjoying all-inclusive meals, snacks, and in-house bar ready for you after you’ve finished diving each day.

Dive Sites and Marine Life to Expect

The Bahamas, particularly the Exuma Cays, is home to some of the most diverse and vibrant marine life in the world. You’ll encounter schools of fish, eels, octopi, lobsters, crabs, and possibly five of the seven species of sea turtles found in the Bahamas. If pelagic marine life is your vibe, the Bahamas is well known for introducing divers with a variety of sharks, including the Caribbean reef shark, nurse sharks and if lucky, sometimes the occasional hammerhead, lemon shark, and whale shark come out to play (from a safe distance).

You’ll explore coral reefs, vertical walls, mysterious blue holes, and even a shark feeding dive where you can swim up close with sharks and rays! One of the trip’s highlights is the famous Washing Machine dive, a thrilling drift dive that tumbles you through the currents, and leads you to an abundance of marine life like you’ve never seen before. With slower currents along the reefs and sunken ships, you’ll also enjoy plenty of relaxed dives perfect for beginners and seasoned divers alike.

Build Your Dry Glove System

This guide will walk you through exactly how to put together a reliable dry glove system, what components you need, and how to choose the right setup for your diving style.
