Must be 10 years of age or older.
Before completing the PADI Open Water Diver course, your instructor will have you demonstrate basic water skill comfort by having you: swim 200 metres/yards. There is no time limit for this, and you may use any swimming strokes you want. You will also need to float or tread water for 10 minutes, again using any methods that you want.
Must be able to complete a medical questionnaire, and obtain medical clearance if necessary.

We will be doing temperature checks for all students prior to each session.
Everyone is required to fill out a Declaration of Health form.
All divers will be required to have their own mask, snorkel and regulator mouthpiece.
Divers will be required to wear a mask or face covering while in the store/classroom/van
Something come up and need to postpone your course? No problem! We ask that you give us 1 week notice, as we do fill up quickly so we’d like to have time to fill your spot.
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds, but we would be happy to move you to a different date or offer you a credit towards a future trip or course.

Essentially, it is the very first evening of the PADI Open Water course. Under the trained supervision of one of our PADI Instructors, you will join us for a short classroom session, followed by a 1 hour pool session. In the pool you will experience the thrill of breathing underwater and the peaceful tranquility of floating weightless in the aquatic realm!
