Nanaimo Weekend
Dive Trip

November 27th-28th

Join us for a weekend diving getaway, as we check out some of the amazing wrecks that Nanaimo has to offer!

We’ll be doing one day of shore dives, along with one day of boat dives with Shepherd Dive Charters. The shore dives will include Madrona and Tyee! Boat dive sites will be dependent on weather, but our plan will definitely include the infamous HMCS Saskatchewan!  To maximize our bottom time, Nitrox is highly recommended for the boat dives.

Meals are not included in this trip, but there are lots of restaurant options to choose from nearby.

HMCS Saskatchewan

The 366 ft. HMCS Saskatchewan was scuttled in 1997 as the first artificial reef in the Nanaimo area. She sits in 130 ft. of water with her main deck at 80-90 ft. and is home to a variety of sealife including giant plumose anemonies, lingcod, cabezon, wolfeels, cloud sponges, along with a myriad of smaller marine life.
