It has been a hot minute since Jess completed her Open Water diver course over 15 years ago in the warm waters of Indonesia, and since then her passion for diving and the underwater world has taken her around the globe. When she first moved out to Vancouver for university back in 2013 she swore she would never dive in cold water, not to mention get into a drysuit. But after 3 years of living here without diving, she was missing life underwater and (very reluctantly) took the plunge and hasn’t turned back since.

Since becoming a dive professional she has had the opportunity to work and teach in Jordan on the Red Sea, in Cape Verde and the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean and in Vietnam on the Island of Phu Quoc. Since then she has moved back to Vancouver and is loving teaching students (especially the reluctant ones) in the colder waters and showing what the PNW has to offer underwater.
