The Donatello Console 2 has been designed to fit the Donatello scuba dive computer in a compact and modern console.
The Donatello is designed, developed and produced in Italy by Cressi Elettronica. It is a completely modular, rugged computer with a wide UFDS display, which provides easy configuration and navigation.
- It has Nitrox, Gauge, and Dive Modes, as well as a reset option. The algorithm incorporates RGBM and Deep Stop.
- “User-Friendly Display System”. The information display, screen contrast, proportions, and digit size have been carefully chosen for ease of use.
- All of the information presented is separated by light lines to facilitate reading, even in stressful or emergencies.
- Back-lit display activated by button or when the alarm sounds.
- Extended battery life through a combination of systems: battery saver mode when the computer is not used with automatic power-on.
- The Submersible Pressure Gauge (in global fluo version only) features a fluorescent dial, which glows in low light conditions. It reads from 0 to 350 BAR | 5000 PSI. For at-a-glance monitoring of air pressure the instrument’s face is divided into three different colored zones: the area from 50 BAR | 600 PSI and below is highlighted in red with solid and red stripes.
- If the gauge is used on deeper dives, the red scale extends and fades to 60 BAR | 1000 PSI, this provides for added reserve air indication required at greater depths. From 50 BAR | 600 PSI to approximately 200 BAR | 3000 PSI the scale is green and from 200 BAR | 3000 PSI to the end of the scale is colored in blue.
Thanks to the Cressi UCI (not included with the console), it is possible to connect the console to a computer using a USB cable. The docking station of the interface uses the IR connection to communicate with the Donatello computer. With the software, it is possible to download the diving sessions and monitor the training. The software is compatible with all versions of Windows and with Mac.
Features
- Polycarbonate and desmopan materials are lightweight and minimize bulk for reduced drag.
- Two connection points, one up top for a clip or bungee and wide loops on the back for connection to any strap, give divers the greatest number of mounting options.
- Angled console fits naturally in the hand and positions both the pressure gauge and computer for optimal viewing.
- Rugged mini-gauge has a chrome-plated brass case.
- Gauge dial is color-coded in red, green and blue for instant readability.
- Reads pressures up to 350 BAR | 5000 PSI.
